Accessories often might be overlooked or thought of as unessential parts of an interior design projects

1. It’s All About You
"Accessories are a great way to add personality to a scheme. When it comes to styling, I always imagine the homeowner, envisage their lifestyle, and carefully select objects which embody their character. When choosing accessories, remember that your home is a reflection of you, fill it with objects that represent your passions. If, for example, you love fashion, incorporate some beautiful coffee table books by your favourite designers in colours that compliment the scheme."

2. Mix it Up
"Great styling should appear effortless. The aim is to curate a collection of objects which please the eye without looking contrived. Accessories add contrast and subtly bring a scheme together, so with a colour palette in mind, gather together an interesting mix of items which work both together, and within the space."

3. Be Bold
"Without making a scheme feel cluttered or twee, it’s important to layer objects of varying sizes and textures to add depth and interest to each room. Don’t be afraid of oversized ornaments and stand out sculptures, larger pieces are a great way to create a focus within a room."
