A.LONDON have once again made their mark in the West End with Soho 13. The recent dress for sale scheme provided to Barratt London sold for £4m by CBRE on the day it was launched to the market.
Polly Burdell, A.LONDON's Associate Director said “With more choice for Prime Central London Properties than ever, switched on sellers are asking for us to help their property stand out from the crowd.”
Our A.LONDON designers know how to make an interior make an impression. Patterns, bold colours and accessories that are to die for combined with fresh greenery set this scheme apart from the crowd. This is emphasised more by the striking pieces of artwork chosen by our designers throughout this Chelsea project.
Accouter Design's own Mia joined Katie in Milan with one mission; to discover the most innovative designs for her discerning clients. With an eye for the incomparable, Mia uncovered a new piece by Marcel Wanders, presented by Wonder Glass; Calliope. Inspired by Japanese calligraphy and created out of hand blown Murano glass, this lighting system was designed to be poetic and graceful.

Not only were Wonder Glass Mia’s design protagonist of Milan 2017, they also invited Mia to Barnaba Fornasetti’s exclusive house party to sip champagne with influencers in the design & Fashion industry.
Katie, our A.LONDON Interior Designer described Salone del Mobile as “atmospheric” and “exceptional”. With an eye for intrinsic detail, Katie’s show-stopping piece of the week was Invisible Outlines by Nendo at Jil Sander. The Jellyfish Vases are created with ultrathin transparent silicon which makes them dance like jellyfish. As one of the most-shared installations and exhibition from this years Milan design week, it is safe to say the girls experienced an outstanding 56th edition of Salone Del Mobile.

Our inspiring designers paid a visit to High Road House in Chiswick to attend The Interior Design Lounge With Sophie Ashby earlier this year. She spoke about all things from styling tips and ideas to how we should deal with competition.
Sophie told our A.LONDON designers about how she loves collating unique objects and items from auction houses and antique showrooms to create unique and eccentric schemes. Another one of Sophie's techniques which we found interesting is the way she starts a project with a single piece of beautiful artwork and building the rest of the interior around this. Our own Saint Martin's Loft project has some fabulously striking pieces of artwork.
Here are a couple of our personal favourite projects of Sophie's.
We loved how Sophie isn't afraid to take inspiration from other interior designers. She spoke fondly of other designers and believes that we should all celebrate and support one another in the same trade rather than seeing each other as competition and not appreciating each other's great work.
Thanks for the great talk Sophie, we look forward to attending more in the future!
"Working in a fast moving agency environment, myself and my team openly admit we ask a lot of our furnishing and Interior Design partners. Alec, Stella, Polly and the team at A.LONDON understand intimately our client requirements and really work hard to achieve our client’s goals on time and on budget every time despite the often challenging circumstances surrounding our projects.
We have worked closely with them over the past 3 or so years and continue to grow our relationship providing Interior and Furnishing solutions to various parts of the Savills residential business. "
