YOUR LUXURY INTERIOR TRENDS GUIDE FOR AUTUMN WINTER 2022_

STYLE TIPS September 2022

With autumn fast approaching, there are a multitude of ways to enhance your interiors to give them a cosy, warm, yet luxurious feel for the new season. From our London-based studio, our designers are back again sharing their styling tips and favourite colour palettes, as well as discussing how adding elements of nature doesn’t only have to be a spring or summer interior trend.

“…this autumn we welcome hues of blush pink into our homes.”

Pink Tones

When initially envisioning a colour palette for the colder months, burnt oranges, emerald greens, and browns are often the go to. However, this autumn we welcome hues of blush pink and coral into our homes. Not only does the colour pink complement brass, bronze and gold, it also adds a sense of warmth to a space, but keeps it fresh and invigorating, a welcome break from the bleak outdoors.

Feature Lighting

As the nights become longer, lighting is an essential feature in our homes. This autumn, add opulence to your property and incorporate a striking chandelier. Take inspiration from the statement lighting that has been included throughout the outstanding living areas of our luxury rental project, No1 Belgravia.

Lighting can be a distinctive addition to any space. Our team are on hand to assist with the choice of style and the positioning of lighting within your scheme.

Statement Room Dividers

A trend the designers have seen more of this year is the use of room dividers. Perfect for zoning open-plan living spaces, room dividers can add that cosiness we all need in winter, especially when upholstered in your favourite fabric. As seen in the living room of our award-winning show home, The W1 Townhouse, dressed in a beautiful Lelievre Paris fabric, the Penfold Street Screen from Bazaar perfectly completes the space.

Mirrored Surfaces

Statement stand-alone mirrors, mirrored furniture and high shine artwork are making a comeback. When curated and displayed right, mirrored furniture can enhance a luxury space even further, adding brightness and glamour to a home. High gloss furniture can also create an illusion of a larger room, so featuring these in a cosy, smaller space can create a less enclosed feel. This trend can easily be created through small accessories and furniture such as the Titan Coffee Table, available to purchase from Bazaar.

Bringing the Outdoors, Indoors

Although you typically see greenery in the home through spring and summer months, biophilic design is a trend we are continuing to see as we move through to the next season. Bringing inspiration from the outdoors to the indoors can allow us to feel more connected to nature. This goes much further than including plants. Bring elements of nature through textures and colours as seen in our Belgravia project.
