STYLE TIPS:
HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT YET PRACTICAL FAMILY HOME_

STYLE TIPS April 2020

Due to the recent events we have found ourselves in, many of us have been spending a lot more quality time together as a family. Some may want the extra space now to have a Zoom meeting in peace, but whilst the shops are shut, we hope to share some ideas for your next renovation.

“An adult’s hideaway is a requirement in any household to escape the riff raff for 5 minutes.”

THE FAMILY NEST

Open plan living is by far the most sociable layout you can have in your house. Not only does this aid in communal living, knocking down the walls can bring beams of natural light into your home too. Our Holland Park Villas scheme showcases the ideal family living area, featuring a kitchen with a large breakfast bar for those hasty school mornings, a dining area with plenty of seats for evening dinners and a relaxed lounge area to unwind in once the day is done.

THE ADULT HIDEAWAY

An adult’s hideaway is a requirement in any household to escape the riff raff for 5 minutes, especially during quarantine. Take inspiration from our Wetherby project; it features the ideal room for you to relax in with a calm colour palette splashed on sophisticated panelled walls. Positioning the sofa’s opposite elegantly adds the show home finish we all dream about when having some ‘me time’ at home.

THE CHILD’S DEN

Being an environment to boost children’s imagination, their bedrooms have become even more creative than ever before. Our Eaton Park project features a children’s room fit for any adventure. Two statement beds take centre stage with a minimal yet playful design. Imaginative accessories including unicorn handles on block colour painted draws are featured throughout. These small features are simple touches but can completely change the look of a chest of draws into something more entertaining.
