LOOKING BACK ON 2021_

PROJECTS December 2021

Another year over, another year of luxury interior design successes from our team! As well as designing dream homes for high-net-worth private clients, top developers and investors, this year, our team has been busier than ever. We’re back attending the top events in the industry and not forgetting we launched our brand-new look. With that, our team have shared their top highlights from the year.

Throughout the year we have been making conscious efforts not only working towards becoming a more sustainable company but also educating those around us.

Proud Members Of Walpole

We started the year on a high! As part of Accouter Group of Companies, A.LONDON became proud members of Walpole, joining brands such as BurberryFortnum & Mason and The Ned. Walpole’s mission is to promote and enhance the British luxury sector across the globe, helping to reinforce AGC’s luxury brand positioning.

“As proud members of Walpole, we are thrilled to join forces with Britain’s most remarkable luxury brands. Together we look forward to supporting and collaborating with our peers and play an active role in influencing the voice of luxury on a global scale. Our ambition is to take learnings from other industries within the sector to influence the world of interiors, especially within a sustainable practice.”
Stella Gittins, Co-Founder, Accouter Group of Companies

Introducing A New Look

This summer, we said goodbye to our old website and said hello to a brand-new look. Our blog, The Journal, had a complete refresh. Here, the team unravel the stories of our luxury interior design projects, top interior tips from our talented designers, as well as insightful collaborations with industry experts! It doesn’t stop there, we also transformed our luxury interior design portfolio into an editorial piece unique to each project, where you can discover the inspirations behind our award-winning projects.

Growing Our Portfolio

Our first portfolio of the year, we introduced to you Cornithia Residences. The luxury apartment finds the perfect balance between classic contemporary interiors that mirrors the prestigious and iconic London Residences.

Head 22 miles just outside of London and you will find our luxury show home portfolio, Horlicks Quarter. Appealing to young professionals commuting into the city, the cosy apartment boasts a vibrant and multifunctional design.

Later this year, we launched our latest luxury rental project, the outstanding N°1 Belgravia. The classic Georgian residences were designed to encapsulate the culturally rich and peaceful sanctuary within the bustling and hectic central London that Belgravia has to offer. What is more, you can recreate this timeless look in your own home. A selection of bespoke furniture pieces designed for the property by our very own team, is now available to shop from AGC’s luxury furniture store, Bazaar

Our Responsibility

Throughout the year we have been making conscious efforts not only working towards becoming a more sustainable company but also educating those around us. Over this year we have released interior tips to make your home more eco-friendly, sustainable guides featuring our favourite restaurants and inspiring Walpole members. In addition to all of that, we’ve launched mentoring programmes, giving people the opportunity to have 1-2-1 industry advice from our team, as well as launching our very first Supplier Diversity Awards, celebrating the amazing talent we have in the industry.

Hitting the Headlines

Our luxury interior designs have been hitting the headlines this year, with our award-winning The W1 Townhouse showcasing in both Marie Claire Maison and PrimeResi. Our team are so in tune with interior trends, we also shared our knowledge with Vogue Living and discussed 5 emerging interior trends for 2021. It doesn’t stop there, our Senior Interior Designer, Lauren Lear, sat down with the Stylist magazine, where she shared her top tips on this year’s winter interior trends.

Back Exploring

After a year of virtual events, the team were back attending some of the biggest shows in the design calendar, including London Design Week and the most recent Miami Art Week. This year we were even able to pull our best dress and attend the star-studded Walpole Awards evening. Taken place at the famous Dorchester Hotel, bringing together 300 luxury leaders to celebrate the achievements of the UK luxury sector.
