HORLICK’S QUARTER_
PROJECTS January 2021
Just 22 miles west from central London you will find Berkeley’s latest regeneration project, and home to A.LONDON’s latest interior design show home, Horlicks Quarter. The luxury apartment boasts a multifunctional design, perfect for any young professional commuting into the city.
Upon entering the show home apartment, you are instantly greeted with a welcoming pop of colour. The bright blue bespoke sofa first captures your eye before noticing the vibrant theme throughout. Commissioned artwork has been displayed in each room, complementing the young creative area, the property sits within. As a result of COVID-19, more people are working from home, therefore, dedicated workspaces are essential for any interior design. The designers cleverly incorporated a bespoke piece of joinery opposite the sofa, that seamlessly flowed from a TV Cabinet to a desk, ensuring the living room is dynamic as possible.
Senior Designer, Lauren Colquhoun said, “we thought very carefully about the special planning to ensure that the luxury show home was utilised to its fullest. Due to being a small size, we really wanted to show that the apartment could be dynamic but also feel open. With working from home being so much more important we designed a dedicated, considered working space while not crowding the living room. The bold patterns and bright colours make the show home a lively and eclectic vibe which is reminiscent of surrounding area.”
