HAWTHBUSH FARM: Selected by
Harriet Knowlton, Interior Designer.

Harriet managed to escape last weekend to the East Sussex family-owned organic, Hawthbush Farm. Working with Nature England, the family’s aim is to protect the land and habitats to its natural state. What is more, not only is most of their electricity and heating sustainably sourced, they have their own spring to provide water to the 140 acres of land and cottages. And if you’re like Harriet, who loves to feature antiques in our luxury interior design portfolios, the farm is located just outside of Lewes, which showcases some of the best treasures.

FARMACY: Selected by
Associate Director, Lottie Simonson.

When doing site visits around Notting Hill, our Associate Director Lottie visits plant-based organic restaurant, Farmacy, to try their innovative nutritional menu. Not only do they serve seasonal, delicious local produce all year round in their restaurant, Farmacy also offer you a meal kit to cook at home too.

THE PIG HOTEL: Selected by
Group Director, Polly Burdell.

Our Group Director Polly loves to escape to The Pig Hotel for the weekend. Not only are the luxury interiors inspiring, but The Pig Hotel also take pride in sourcing their food locally. If they can’t grow it themselves in the kitchen garden, they source the rest all within a 25-mile radius of the 7 hotels in the country.

SILO LONDON: Selected by
CEO, Alec Watt.

Our CEO Alec highly recommends the first zero-waste restaurant, Silo. The whole journey throughout the restaurant from the food to the furniture, everything has had the zero-waste mission at the heart. As seen in our award-winning project Lyons Place, our designers love to upcycle antiques and give them a new lease of life; Silo’s furniture and fittings are all made from upcycled materials that could have gone to waste.

GUARDSWELL FARM: Selected by
Senior Interior Designer, Lauren Colquhoun.

If you fancy travelling further afield, our Senior Interior Designer Lauren loves to visit Guardswell Farm in the beautiful Scottish county of Perthshire. With the Guardian saying it is the best off-grid places to stay in the UK, this eco-retreat is sure to get you feeling at one with nature.

SPRING: Selected by
Creative Marketing Manager, Kim Francis.

Just a short stroll from our luxury show home, Hexagon Apartments, you can find our Creative Marketing Manager’s restaurant recommendation, Spring. Since 2016 Spring have been working around the clock to eradicate single use plastic from their restaurant. From eliminating plastic straws to plastic containers, Spring is the first single-use plastic-free restaurant in London.
